Nike's Online site and mobile app
When scrolling through Nike's website it is very simple and there are links for the items that they have displayed on the page. When clicking on the item you see on the home screen it takes you directly to the shopping page where you can purchase that item. It also separates for gender, kids and gives you the option to customize. I have used the Nike custom before, and this was a decade ago, and it was very simple to use. They had a bunch of different designs and colors to choose from and even allows you to embroider it. When it comes to having the mobile app. They did not try to cram everything into one app, instead they have four separate apps that allow you to choose what you use most or you can have them all. They have one for the shopping, Nike + running, Nike + FuelBand and Nike training club which gives you personal workouts that you can complete at home. Nike is keeping up with the current world and trends which is all about convenience and moving fast. By linking up with Nike you can get everything you need to become more fit and that is from buying the right gear for you, whether that is running, playing sports or just straight training Nike has it for you. When using the apps you can put in goals you are trying to reach and the apps help to keep you on track with your fitness goals. Nike's website is a little easier to use when shopping as it has a more simple layout although the Nike app is simple as well just a few more drop down screens. The website is easy to use and is also appealing to the eye as they flaunt their latest releases and allow you to see what is new or even what is best selling. If you are wanting help they give you multiple options to choose from at the bottom of the page and also gives you additional information about the company or if you are looking to apply at Nike. Overall Nike's online and mobile sites/apps are very user friendly and can easily be used. Nike is making it easier for their brand loyal
customers to be more involved with Nike and everything they do. When becoming a
member, they do ask for your email and give you the option to receive newsletters,
sales and new items. In my opinion Nike is one place shop when it comes to
casual and sporty wear. As a prior soldier, you could even get work apparel
from them, military boots, the boots they made were extremely light and were
more suitable in the day to day routine of the Army on post, the only flaw is
they were not very durable and did not hold up in the extreme environments you
may be a part of as a soldier. The only thing Nike doesn’t have is your formal
dress attire, but it wouldn’t surprise me to see Nike venture that way within
the coming years!
